The up-and-comers in Germany are certainly stirring the pot. From Brand to Marto to Dostert and Piri, there are so many exciting things to drink from the next gen. This Riesling is fresh to death. Spritz with a capital ptsssssss. I go back and forth on whether this belongs in the sparkling camp, ’cause the bubbles are real. But no, let’s call this a still wine with free bubbles. It’s another one of those breakfast wines I am always going on about. But please don't worry about me. — Billy Smith
